Gujarat Child Care Hospital (GCCH) – INCEPTION STORY

The GCCH team of doctors (Dr. Hiren Trivedi, Dr. Bhavesh Shah & Dr. Haresh Solanki – now PARTNERS/DIRECTORS) knew each other since 2006 delivering quality intensive/comprehensive care to the pediatric population in Ahmedabad. Inclination & dedication towards pediatric and neonatal intensive care laid the seeds of creating a private setup of our own to provide critical and routine care services to pediatric population.

In 2010, after finalizing the location of our dream set-up the hospital layout and design were prepared by the partner doctors themselves using their clinical and architectural acumen and their personal experience in managing patients at hospitals elsewhere in Ahmedabad.

This led to an Infrastructure and a Working Concept set-up which was revolving keeping the primary patient in centre. One of the main pillars of thought was a 24 hr walk-in Intensive/Emergency care set-up where our team is ready always in an emergency condition with minimal wastage of your child’s precious time. Ironically, we remain at hospital waiting for an emergency!

It took us 6 months to plan and prepare the set up and we started it fully functional since 6th Feb, 2011.
